CEO/Managing Director
Over 40 years ago, Barry Sturges founded Sturges, Griffin, Trent & Company (now Sturges Property Group), a full-service real estate company, which became Northern Indiana’s largest commercial/industrial real estate service provider. He created Sturges Development Group in 1988, specifically for commercial and residential development projects. As the CEO and Managing Director, Barry is responsible for managing the company’s Fort Wayne office and is involved in all facets of Sturges Development projects, including acquisition, financing, planning, and infrastructure. He has developed over 35 major projects in northern Indiana. Barry is a CPM (Certified Property Manager) designee and a member of National Association of Realtors, International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), and the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors. On the local level, he is involved in Turnstone Center for Disabled Children & Adults, the Fort Wayne Airport Authority Board, and Greater Fort Wayne, Inc. and is a member of the NE Indiana Regional Chamber.

Brad Sturges began his real estate career in 2001 and currently serves as President of Sturges Development Group. His role includes planning, acquisition, financing, and leasing of current commercial projects. He also oversees financial, operational/management, marketing, business development and overall strategy for all Sturges-related companies. Brad is a member of ICSC and previously served on the Board of Directors for the Indiana Commercial Board of Realtors. Currently, Brad is a Board Member for the Embassy Theater and Turnstone Center for Disabled Children & Adults.

Vice President of Sales & Marketing
Cynthia Wilkin has been a part of the Sturges Development team since 1995. Previously, she served as the Executive Director of the Home Builders Association of Fort Wayne. As the Vice President of Sales & Marketing for SDG, Cynthia negotiates lot sales for residential projects and maintains strong relationships with local home builders and Realtors. Additionally, as Development Coordinator, she handles permitting, procures bids from contractors, and oversees the progress of our residential developments from beginning to end. In her time with Sturges Development Group, Cynthia has completed over fifteen residential subdivisions and sold more than 1,500 residential lots with a combined transaction value of over $25 million.

Ryan Doerffler, CPA
Corporate Controller
Ryan Doerffler has over ten years of experience in finance and holds a Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Valparaiso University. He formerly held the position of Senior Manager of Corporate Finance at a Chicago-based property development company.
